It features stain-resistant tumbled full-grain leather which is the reason of its durability and on the other side it also provides supreme comfort. I've been wearing "Gus" Hush Puppies for five years. They look presentable, and are more comfortable by far on my feet than sports shoes. I wear them out at a rate of two-three pairs per year (they end up looking wrinkled, and the soles deform with the form of my foot). This is my 5th pair of Hush Puppies 'Gus'. I've been a fan of Hush puppies for several years now. I've purchased 'Mall Walker' and 'Glen', but 'Gus' is the most roomy and comfortable shoe of the three. I wear Orthodic inserts which normally makes the fit at the toe of the shoe very snug. This shoe has the height in the toe so there is no rubbing. Extreemly comfortable shoe, expect reasonable wear. I have purchased the Hush Puppy Gus shoes locally over the years. When I try to buy them, the store doesn't always have them and the clerk usually doesn't know the various models anyway. I went online and found Shoebuy and was able to find exactly what I wanted. It was delivered quickley and the show fit perfectly. I am very pleased.
